CALL FOR APPLICATIONS:
STUDENT EXCHANGE MOBILITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CATANIA (ITALY)
Within the LEGO-TNE Project

The Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST, sending institution) is pleased to announce a call for applications for Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral students to participate in a mobility program at the University of Catania (UniCT, host institution), Italy, within the framework of the LEGO-TNE Project.

The LEGO-TNE Project aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of international mobility and education between higher education institutions in Italy and East Asia, by maximizing partners’ educational and scientific excellence and enhancing their impact both internationally and locally.

Exchange-Mobility Opportunity Details

Eligibility:

    • Enrolled at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST).
    • 3rd-year student or higher.
    • Field of study must be in engineering and aligned with the study/research priorities of the host department.
    • Prior experience in international projects is required.
    • Identifying a student at UniCT (https://www.unict.it/) whose research interests align with yours will be considered an advantage (no need to contact in advance).

Host department: Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture

Type of activity: Study and/or research mobility

Duration: 1–2 months, to be completed no later than 31 January 2026

Funding: €700 per month + €1,000 travel allowance (The fund will be disbursed as reimbursements upon submission supporting documents).

  1. Completed Application Form
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV), including academic qualifications and achievements
  3. Certificate of Student Status, issued by MUST (confirming current academic enrollment and mobility eligibility; may include proof of English-language teaching/training)
  4. Language proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent)
  5. Copy of Passport
  6. Proposed project/study and/or research plan (including expected hours and topics), to be evaluated by the selection board
