Teacher Training Workshop at MUST

Teacher Training Workshop for English Teachers at MUST was successfully held on 17-22 November 2014 at MUST. The workshop was organized in the frame of the project that is being implemented by the “SANTIS Educational Services” center and the Foreign Language Institute of MUST.

An experienced lecturer with MA in Applied Linguistics, Cambridge DELTA and CELTA Philippa Colemen from the Institute of Continuing and TESOL Education of the University of Queensland, Australia and an English Fellow Judy Emerson from the USA at MUST presented and organized their workshops on the following topics:

Clarifying and Checking Meaning, Vocabulary Practice Activities

Reading Skills - Beyond Translation Text Attack Strategies

Course books & Meaningful Language Practice

Teaching Practice in Speaking and Listening

The workshop that is held in Ulaanbaatar on 17-20 November, continued on 21-22 November 2014 for English teachers of the Technology school in Darkhan Uul province. This 4 days event was involving 48 English teachers of MUST and Santis, and it was successful and useful for English Teachers’ professional developmentof MUST, its branch schools and “SANTIS Educational Service” center.
