“English language week + Olympics” Celebrating “Thanksgiving day”
(23rd – 27th November, 2015)
“English Language Week + Olympics” is organized annually by the team of teachers of Department of English Studies celebrating “Thanksgiving Day” introducing American culture to our students offering kinds of games, contests and team presentations to increase their motivation in learning and boost their general knowledge. The purpose of the week is to create genuine environment where students practice English with a number activities, improve their language and other skills to use English successfully in the prospective work field. The special goals of the English Language Week + Olympics are to share gratefulness as we are celebrating the “Thanksgiving Day” during the events in the week and to contribute our efforts creating healthy and clean living environment. The activities, contests, and events are shown in the table:
