OyuTolgoi encourages and strongly values education, development and the pursuit of excellence. As per the Investment Agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding between OyuTolgoi LLC and the Ministry of Education of Culture and Science on professional training and education, OyuTolgoi LLC has established a scholarship program for assisting in the education of Mongolian nationals.
OyuTolgoi scholarship program is designed to financially assist selected applicants in obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees from accredited academic institutions of higher learning in fields related to the mining industry.
We will offer 6international scholarshipsto study at the University of British Columbia, Canada and Curtin University, Australia commencing in August 2014.
Scholarship recipients will receive following benefits:
Scholarship holders will be given an opportunity to do an internship at OyuTolgoi LLC.
Upon successful completion of the program, the scholars are expected to return to Mongolia and contribute to the development of OyuTolgoi LLC.
