Call for Expression of Interest

Software Development for Distance Learning

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for its operations in Mongolia is interested in identifying potential Services Providers (an individual or company software developer, a graduate student looking for a good thesis or other interested entity) for establishing an internet based distance learning platform using open-source Moodle (reference: www. Moodle.org). The Moodle platform would be used to assist all interested stakeholders  in learning livestock, forestry, fishery and environmental related policy and technical topics in Mongolian language.

FAO invites potential service providers to express their interest with the following information:

-          A profile of a service provider;

-          Confirmation of relevant experience for the required services;

-          Contact details of the person to whom the bidding documents must be sent.

The subsequent bidding document and awarded purchase order(s) will be issued in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of FAO and in compliance with FAO General Terms and Conditions.

The Expression of Interest should specify FAO reference number “MON-CEI/15-001” and must be received no later than Close of Business on 10 September, 2015.
