Тус хөтөлбөрт хамрагдахыг хүссэн бакалаврын 3 болон 4-р курс болон магистр оюутнууд дараах зарлалыг уншиж холбогдох материалыг бүрдүүлэн 2015 оны 5 дугаар сарын 21-ний өдрийн дотор ГХХА-ны 218 тоот өрөөнд ирүүлнэ үү.
The Office of International and Public Affairs (IPA) at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea, is planning to host Global Intern Program (GIP) Fall 2015.
The primary objective of the GIP is to carry out research and provide research training related to science and technology. For GIP Fall 2015, students will have opportunities to join both course works and research at the same time for 16 weeks as an ‘exchange student’ at GIST campus.

Internship Period: September 1st, 2015 ~ December 18th, 2015 (16 weeks)
What will Interns obtain from the GIP Fall 2015?
1. Course works for Fall semester as an exchange student

● Qualification
Must be juniors and seniors in an undergraduate program or master’s students in a graduate program
Should be fluent in English (all lectures are provided in English)
● Required documents
1. Curriculum vitae and Application form
2. A letter of recommendation from professor
3. Official degree certificates and transcripts
-For all undergraduate and graduate degree programs
-Only original or notarized copies will be accepted
4. A certificate of English language proficiency test issued from the applicant’s home institute or provide an official documentation.
● Supports for GIP Interns
1. Reimbursement for a one-way airfare (economy class)
2. Medical insurance during the Program period
3. Dormitory accommodation (two persons per room)
4. Culture trip & Korean class (Offered free of charge)
5. Stipend of 300,000 Korean Won per month (approximately $277/month)
How to select the laboratories?
- Each participant will be assigned to a department laboratory and receive research training under the supervision of the professor in charge of the laboratory.
- Information regarding department labs can be obtained at the GIST website (www.gist.ac.kr) or IPA homepage (ipa.gist.ac.kr). Applicants should select two laboratories in order of interest and fill in the application form considering their interests.
- Areas are Information and Communications, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechatronics, Environmental Science and Engineering, Life Sciences, Physics and Photon Science, and Medical System Engineering.
● Visa status: Please remember that you should obtain a D-4 visa when applying for a Korean visa.
