The University library comprises the Central Library of the Main campuses of the University, libraries in the affiliated schools. It houses over 300 thousands volumes,as well as over 30 periodicals in the humanities, science and technology. Classification is provided by theme and subject based on the Dewey Decimal Classification and books are shelved according to acquisition. The University Library is one of the first libraries in Mongolia that has online access and electronic catalogue. All libraries of the university are interconnected with LAN and have the Internet Access. The functions of the University Library include collection, organization and dissemination of information. It has built up a balanced collection of valuable books, doctoral theses, and back volumes of periodicals, technical reports, conference proceedings, and patents. Documents on Science and Technology subjects constitute a major share of its collections. It subscribes to a number of Mongolian and international journals, including indexing and abstracting periodicals. Services include book lending; inter library loan, literature search, compilation of bibliography, conference information, patent inspection, reference and consultancy.

A variety of forces brings universities and industry into cooperative relationships. International competitiveness, rapid technological advancement, and the growth of science-based and technologyintensive industries are among the forces that motivate these alliances. The key reasons for university industry research relationships are in the national interest; universities and industry have substantially resolved intellectual property issues to their mutual satisfaction; and universities and industry recognize and effectively protect the Government's interest in these relationships. The Center was established in 2000 with purpose to facilitate such relationship. The Center obtains and manages patents, copyrights and trademarks derived from the University's academic researchenterprise. Moreover, it promotes the University's core academic mission and research enterprise by forging strategic relationships with companies and private equity investors to convert University's vast research capacity into commercial activity. It is the policy of the University that faculty inventors assign to the University all right, title and interest to their inventions and materials and partner fully with the University in the preparation and prosecution of patents related to these inventions.

Mongolian University of Science and Technology as our new ETS Preferred Associate (EPA) for the TOEFL® Institutional Testing Program (ITP)

Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) is our only authorized ETS TOEFL ITP distributor in the Mongolia. Mongolian University of Science and Technology, validly exists at Baga Toiruu Street 34, P.O-46, Box-808, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has had a long standing relationship with ETS and is currently providing other ETS services in the Mongolia.

The TOEFL ITP Program provides convenient, affordable English proficiency tests that can be used for institutional placement, progress evaluation, exit testing, and other situations that don't require a secure environment. More than 400,000 ITP tests are administered worldwide each year, and that number continues to grow. The TOEFL ITP consists of previously administered TOEFL English language tests and is used to evaluate English as a second language skill for academic purposes. MUST provides test administration services directly as well as training to organizations on how to administer tests so that organizations have the option to administer tests to their own students.
